Chris MacDonald is a seasoned web designer & developer with an extensive background in consulting and direct client service. To each client engagement Chris brings a deep understanding of usability, intuitive web design and web marketing fundamentals.

Throughout his career, Chris has noticed a shift in focus on the importance of quality user interface design. As the Internet matures, more and more evidence indicates that design has a tremendous impact on the success of an application or web site. Chris understands this concept and his designs are always rooted in the principles of sound usability, clean design and simplicity.

Technically, Chris relies on industry-standard development principles & processes to guide his work and tries to remain on top of new technology and frameworks to help him. His work, whether it’s a site redesign or user interface for a mission critical web application, always incorporates clean design features with standard usability to deliver an outstanding product.

Chris has worked with companies like Cable & Wireless, Noblestar, Tutornet & CARFAX. He also co-founded DevElements, Inc. with Andrew Hill, sold in 2003 & is currently a partner at Rangelog.com. For more useless information on Chris you can follow him at Tumblr.

As a designer, Katrina firmly believes that, as Saul Bass once said, “Design is thinking made visual”. With this in mind, she works to articulate designs that communicate clear graphic solutions. Never one to be complacent, she has consistently added new skill-sets to her repertoire, foraying into web development and online marketing from traditional media. She helps us give your message meaning though well thought-out & designed solutions.

Katrina’s interest in design began during her internship at Magnet Interactive — now known as AKQA — in 2001. A graphic designer whose talents stretch from the canvas to the web, she is a veritable Jane of all trades. Her love for typography spawned her love for graffiti art, for which she has been recognized in several gallery shows including A Decade of Destruction and Lost & Found. As well as her participation in The Meat Market – Performance Week Mural, which won the Washington City Paper’s Best Family Friendly Mural Award in 2008.

So . . . look for her work throughout our web and print projects or on a brick wall in the alley next to your building.


Paul ArcePaul Arce
Multimedia Specialist & Web Programmer

Paul is equal parts multimedia developer, information architect, usability analyst, and programmer. With over ten years of experience as a multimedia specialist, web application & interface developer, Paul strives to give web interfaces life, make information useful and interactive for websites of all shapes and sizes.

Previously, he’s worked in a variety of settings, effectively collaborating with developers, designers and marketers alike.  Previous clients have included Amazon, eBay, Yahoo, and AOL.

He is also an Adobe Certified Expert in Flash Programming – no easy feat, which makes him think he knows the best way things should be done. We don’t always like it, but we would tend to agree.

When he’s not making websites, Paul serves as goalkeeper for the Second Nature FC.

Eric Arce is a gifted web designer and strategist with a concentration on online marketing, metrics and ad serving solutions.  He understands that successful marketing campaigns must employ quality metrics in addition to good design. He ensures that we can measure how well our marketing efforts get through to our audience.

He spends most of this time in web marketing delivery applications and analytic applications like Silverpop, Doubleclick, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics & Campaign Monitor.

He ensures we can deliver your message effectively & provides measurable proof that our work does what is says – reaches your audience & accomplishes it’s mission. He brings the reality of situations, good & bad – We don’t always like what he has to say – but we always listen & learn.
