Rosetta Stone Blog
Rosetta Stone was looking to create a blog surrounding the topic of language learning. The wanted to allow customers and language learners post their experiences as well as allowing company topic experts to posts stories.
The WordPress blog needed to be split into two parts, once for each type of author and the two post categories could not be mixed in the same archives or indexes. This required some custom programming and functionality. Custom post type templates we also created to allow authors to create showcase posts, featured image areas and stories.
We had to get a good idea of the users of the site. Some were people who were just starting with the product and some were advanced. There we also language teachers and internal Rosetta Stone product managers. We needing to get a feel for each user type to map the experience they would be ideal for them.
