UX – Wireframes

Wireframes -The start of any website design.

I am a firm believer that wireframes are an important part of any web design project, no matter how big or small.

I have assembled a collection of various wireframes from different projects. This gives a glimpse into how I plan out site navigation, graphical elements & presentation of content. This is the start of use cases and how we I map and optimize the users path to the objective goal.

I start wireframes from the overall navigational elements. I then then add all the essential content, a users options on each page. Then I build out a single content layout and try to build from that example and build out all content layout formats to be used. I then map out specific use cases, major site sections and all functional elements to give the wireframes the ability to be navigated and experience the site as a user would. I am currently using Hotgloo for interactive wireframe formats.

I have also used MockFlow, Axure, Balsamiq and Omnigraffle, but at the moment I find Hotgloo to be the best fit for my needs.
